Trade between Saudi Arabia and Egypt reached USD 18.1 billion in 2025, up 11% from the previous year, according to data from Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics.

The figures place Saudi Arabia as Egypt’s third-largest trading partner globally. Between 2021 and 2025, total bilateral trade reached USD 82.2 billion, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 5.66%.

Plastics and plastic products, alongside organic chemicals, were among the main Saudi exports to Egypt during the period.

Saudi imports from Egypt were led by mineral fuels, oils and waxes, as well as copper and copper products.

The Saudi Commercial Attaché in Egypt works to facilitate access for Saudi exports to the Egyptian market while also supporting efforts to attract Egyptian investment into Saudi Arabia.

The General Authority of Foreign Trade also provides technical support to the private sector and works to expand the use of trade agreements and concessions available in international markets, while developing Saudi trade and investment ties with key partners.
