Riyadh Arts University Begins First Academic Year With Four Faculties
Riyadh Arts University has welcomed its first students, launching eight programmes across music, film, performing arts and cultural management.
Riyadh Arts University has welcomed its first cohort of students, beginning its inaugural academic year with teaching across four faculties and eight programmes in music, film, theatre and performing arts, and cultural management.
The initial programmes include film and television production, screenwriting, music production, music education, music, acting for theatre and cinema, and arts management, alongside a mid-level diploma in film and television production.
Admissions for the university’s first intake opened in May 2026 ahead of the start of studies in September.
The university plans to expand gradually to 13 colleges covering a wider range of creative and cultural disciplines, including design and architecture, fashion, visual arts and photography, heritage and civilisational studies, museum management, literature and languages, libraries and manuscripts, cultural education, and culinary arts.
