Rafid Launches 24/7 Digital Vehicle Services Platform in Sharjah
The platform enables users to complete vehicle services through a mobile app, with AI automation and remote inspection options.
A unified digital platform for vehicle services is now available in Sharjah, bringing inspections, roadside assistance, and accident management into a single system. The platform has been introduced by Rafid Automotive Solutions, a subsidiary of Sharjah Asset Management. It enables customers to complete transactions, request services, and manage vehicle-related processes through a mobile application operating 24/7.
The system consolidates multiple services into one ecosystem, including accident reporting, roadside support, vehicle inspections, and maintenance. According to the company, the platform is designed to reduce service times and simplify procedures for both individuals and businesses.
Institutional services include on-site vehicle inspections, removing the need to transport vehicles to testing centres. These cover commercial vehicle registration, heavy vehicle renewal, and export inspections. The platform also integrates digital maintenance tools that allow users to book appointments and conduct pre-diagnosis checks to identify faults before servicing.
Through the mobile app, users can request towing, battery charging, tyre replacement, and vehicle recovery. The system also enables reporting of minor traffic incidents, including two-party accidents, cases involving unknown parties, and damage caused by debris.
Artificial intelligence is used within the platform to automate data entry, helping to speed up processing and reduce errors. Additional features include remote inspection options for export, repair, and renewal checks, as well as a vehicle collection and return service for renewal inspections.
Inspection services are currently limited to vehicles registered in Sharjah. Remote renewal inspections apply to vehicles that are no more than eight years old and have not exceeded 18 months since their last inspection.
