Emirates Now Lets You Pay for Flights With Crypto
Eligible UAE residents can now pay for flights using Crypto.com Pay when booking through the airline's website or app.
Emirates has officially launched Crypto.com Pay, allowing eligible UAE residents to pay for flights using cryptocurrency through the airline's website and app. Customers with a Crypto.com account can now select Crypto.com Pay at checkout for bookings made and settled in AED.
The rollout comes a year after Emirates and Crypto.com announced plans to integrate the payment platform, making Emirates one of the latest airlines to embrace digital assets as a payment option.
The launch also supports Dubai's Cashless Strategy under the D33 Economic Agenda, which aims to make 90% of financial transactions across the public and private sectors digital by the end of 2026.
