Arabic Learning Gaming Platform Launches With More Than 50 Titles
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language says the platform will expand to over 100 games backed by 15,000 questions.
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched a digital gaming platform featuring more than 50 interactive titles designed to help users develop Arabic-language skills through play.
The pilot platform combines vocabulary, educational and entertainment games with competitive formats built around linguistic data. It is intended for the general public, Arabic-language specialists, learners and enthusiasts across different levels.
The academy plans to expand the platform to more than 100 games, supported by a database containing over 15,000 questions.
The service also includes a Digital Language Games League, allowing schools, universities and other institutions to organise competitions either in person or remotely.
A separate ‘Create Your Language Game’ feature lets users design educational games and tailor content to particular audiences or learning objectives. A teacher-focused tool is also expected to be added, enabling educators to turn lesson ideas into interactive games that can be shared with students.
The academy said the platform incorporates artificial intelligence and automated language-processing technologies alongside gamification, with the aim of strengthening Arabic’s presence across digital learning and entertainment.
The initiative was launched to coincide with the Year of Artificial Intelligence and forms part of wider efforts to expand access to interactive Arabic-language tools while increasing the visibility of Arabic and Saudi culture in gaming and digital media.
