King Salman Academy Launches Arabic Programme for Healthcare Staff

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched a specialised Arabic language programme for non-native speakers working in Saudi Arabia's healthcare sector, aiming to strengthen communication between medical professionals, patients and visitors.

The programme is being held in Riyadh and is designed to equip participants with practical Arabic language skills for use in clinical and healthcare settings.

The curriculum has been tailored to the language demands of healthcare work, combining live interactive lectures with online learning activities to help participants communicate more effectively in day-to-day medical environments.

The training focuses on practical situations including patient registration, ward interactions and communication with visitors, with an emphasis on clear and accurate exchanges in routine healthcare settings.

The academy said the initiative forms part of its broader efforts to develop Arabic language programmes tailored to specific professions and to expand Arabic education for non-native speakers through partnerships with institutions across multiple sectors.

The programme also supports the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program, which aims to strengthen professional skills while promoting the Arabic language and expanding its use across different fields.
