MOVE Gym Club West Brings Lifestyle-Driven Fitness to 6th of October
MOVE Gym Club West is flipping the script on what a gym can be—with fitness, recovery, padel courts, and poolside coffee all in one seriously well-designed space next to Mall of Arabia.

MOVE Gym Club West is the latest concept from fitness entrepreneur Ali Ismail, who’s taken a tired old clubhouse in 6th of October and given it a full-blown glow-up. The result? A sleek, two-story hangout for movement, recovery, and social energy—conveniently parked next to Mall of Arabia.
This isn’t about gimmicks or grandeur. MOVE is grounded in a simple but compelling idea: that staying active should feel good, look good, and maybe even taste good (yes, there’s coffee by the pool).
“For me, fitness isn’t just about performance, it’s about balance,”’Ismail tells #CairoScene. “You should be able to work out, recover, and connect with people all in one place.”
That mindset runs through every corner of the club - from the state-of-the-art gym floor and multi-use fitness arena, to the padel courts with their in-house academy, and the MOVE Gymnastics Academy open to kids and adults alike.
And when the workout’s over? Members can hit the spa for a cooldown, grab a smoothie (or a flat white) at the specialty coffee bar, or unwind in the outdoor courtyard that doubles as a space for community events and wellness activations.
“The social element is key,” Ismail adds. “We wanted to create a space where movement is part of your lifestyle, not something you squeeze in between errands. Whether you’re here for a class or just catching up with friends post-session, you feel like you belong.”
There are also plans to grow the space’s F&B footprint, making it even more of a day-to-night destination for locals looking to work out, hang out, or both.
