Dubai Parents Can Now Use AI to Choose the Best Schools for Their Kids
Launched at Education Expo 2025, the service lets parents use smart filters, book expert sessions and get instant admissions answers.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched Girnas Educational Advisor, a personalised guidance service that helps Dubai parents navigate the process of choosing schools, curricula, and learning environments for their children. Combining one-on-one consultations with expert advisors and an AI chat assistant available on the authority’s website and mobile app, Girnas was unveiled at Education Expo 2025, a two-day event showcasing more than 60 private schools and early childhood centres, running until November 9th, 2025. Through the service, parents can meet advisors in person or online and receive recommendations tailored to their priorities, including location, fees, curriculum options, and individual learning needs. Access is via the parent portal using UAE Pass, where families complete a short questionnaire and apply smart filters to explore school options. First-time private school enrollees can also schedule one-on-one consultations with KHDA experts. The Girnas service is part of KHDA’s Education 33 Strategy, designed to empower parents to take an active role in their children’s education and ensure every learner in Dubai has access to high-quality education that meets their individual needs and potential.
