Saudi Arabia to Showcase $14.9B Tech Investment at Web Summit 2025

Invest Saudi, the government’s investment attraction and promotion entity, will utilise Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal to showcase Saudi Arabia’s $14.9B technology investment and pitch opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, e-commerce and logistics. The Kingdom is positioning itself as a global digital gateway and an AI and innovation hub as part of its Vision 2030 diversification strategy.

Saudi Arabia points to 1,300 megawatts of data-centre capacity and 20 subsea cables linking East and West, connectivity it says underpins digital transformation and the creation of 300 startups nationwide, with the country’s digital economy is projected to reach $76B by 2030.

Joining the Invest Saudi delegation are several organisations. Special Integrated Logistics Zone Company, established in 2022, is the award-winning developer and operator of logistics zones in the Kingdom, covering 3 million square metres with 100% foreign ownership, 50-year tax relief, and direct access to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh; Phase 1 records 51% occupancy across ICT, consumer commerce and aerospace, with potential to create 60,000 jobs.

The Quality of Life Program, one of the Vision 2030 Realisation Programs, will present JOIN, a new initiative aimed at connecting international audiences to Saudi Arabia’s lifestyle economy, promoting liveability, cultural vibrancy and innovation across cities. The National Cybersecurity Authority will highlight its Cybersecurity Accelerator Programme, which has supported more than 45 local, regional and international start-ups over three years through financial backing, mentorship and strategic support. Saudi Arabia launched Premium Residency - often referred to as the Green Card - in 2019 to attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs and investors, granting holders the right to live, work and invest in the Kingdom.
