Bright Bites is Dubai's First Kid-Led Grocery Store
Billed as the world’s first supermarket built just for kids, Bright Bites is part playground, part classroom, and part cleverly disguised nutrition lesson.

Grocery shopping with kids usually feels like a high-stakes game of “don’t touch that,”. Well, no more - a new supermarket, Bright Bites has opened at Carrefour in Mall of the Emirates, and it’s handing the reins to the kids.
Billed as the world’s first supermarket built just for kids, Bright Bites is part playground, part classroom, and part cleverly disguised nutrition lesson. Little ones can grab their own trolley, pick out their “food heroes,” blend smoothies on a bike, and even try their luck at a claw machine. The goal? Helping them build better lunchboxes while actually having fun — and yes, parents are welcome to tag along as trusty sidekicks.
There’s also the Bright Bites Academy, where cooking classes turn pasta-making and smoothie-blending into full-on events, giving both kids and adults a chance to get hands-on with healthy eating. And if your child is the competitive type, there’s even a leaderboard where they can climb their way to Bright Bites boss status.
