Hollywood Arab Film Festival's Award Winners
Palestinian actor and director Mohammad Bakri was honored with the Special Jury Prize for Lifetime Achievement in Cinema.
The Hollywood Arab Film Festival has announced its latest slate of award winners, spotlighting a mix of emerging talent and established figures across Arab cinema.
Leading the short film categories, Mona Dawood’s ‘Alone’, produced by Her Story Films took home three major awards, including Best Short Film, Best Actress in a Short Film, and Best Director, marking it as one of the festival’s standout titles this year.
Egyptian actor Ahmed Malek was awarded Best Actor for his performance in ‘My Father’s Scent’, while Hesham Maged received the Artistic Excellence Award in recognition of his contributions to the industry.
In the student category, ‘Better Luck, Next Paradise’, directed by Hadeer Ramadan, earned Best Student Film. Veteran Palestinian actor and director Mohammad Bakri was honored with the Special Jury Prize for Lifetime Achievement in Cinema, acknowledging his decades-long impact on Arab filmmaking.
