Turkey's Famous Huqqabaz is Now Open in New Cairo
After a month-long soft opening, the grand launch marks the brand’s formal arrival.

HuQQabaz, Istanbul’s export of high-drama Anatolian dining, has officially opened its first Egypt location at New Cairo’s U Venues. After a month-long soft opening, the grand launch marks the brand’s formal arrival, bringing its signature mix of spectacle and sharing plates to Cairo’s dining map.
The name, Turkish for “juggler,” sets the tone. Bread balloons inflate at the table, skewers arrive balanced on swords, and platters roll out under clouds of smoke. It’s the kind of dining that doubles as theatre, leaning into showmanship without losing its footing in traditional Anatolian flavours.
The New Cairo branch mirrors the brand’s global playbook with polished interiors layered with marble and dramatic lighting, designed as much for atmosphere as for appetite. For Egypt, it’s both a new name and a familiar formula — dining as entertainment, staged for gatherings that want food to be as memorable as the night out itself.
