SA’ADA Sahel Beach Hosts Michelin-Starred Chef Omar Dhiab This Summer

This summer, SA'ADA Sahel is welcoming Michelin-starred Egyptian chef Omar Dhiab for a two-night residency at Sarah by the Beach Restaurant on August 1st and 2nd. The collaboration forms part of the destination's summer programme, bringing one of Egypt's most acclaimed chefs back to the North Coast for a limited dining experience.

Born in France to an Egyptian father and Tunisian mother, Dhiab trained in some of Paris' most renowned kitchens, including Pavillon Ledoyen under Christian Le Squer, Lasserre, and L'Abeille at the Shangri-La Paris alongside Christophe Moret. He went on to earn his first Michelin star as head chef of Loiseau Rive Gauche in 2020 before his own Paris restaurant received a Michelin star in 2023, just six months after opening.

For the residency, Dhiab has created a menu exclusively for Sarah by the Beach, combining classical French technique with flavours and influences drawn from his Egyptian heritage. The menu offers guests the opportunity to experience the cuisine that has earned him international recognition.

The collaboration is part of SA'ADA Sahel's wider programme of seasonal events, bringing internationally recognised chefs and hospitality concepts to Egypt's North Coast.
