University of New Haven to Open First International Branch in Riyadh
Initial offerings will include business administration sport management esports marketing and an MBA aligned with Saudi Arabia’s higher education priorities.
The University of New Haven will establish its first international branch campus in Riyadh, becoming the first foreign university approved to open a branch campus in Saudi Arabia, with the campus expected to welcome students in Fall 2026.
Initial academic offerings will include business administration, sport management, esports, marketing and an MBA. The university plans to deliver undergraduate and graduate degrees alongside executive education and micro-credentials. The Riyadh campus is set to comprise a College of Business and Digital Innovation, a College of Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing, and a College of Arts and Applied Sciences. Students enrolled in Riyadh will also have access to the University of New Haven’s main campus in West Haven and its Tuscany campus, as well as the institution’s educational and career resources.
The development follows agreements between the University of New Haven and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Investment and the Royal Commission for Riyadh that created a path for the branch campus and outlined collaboration with business and industry on academic programmes, internships and recruitment pathways. The university and Saudi partners also committed to identifying sponsors for student scholarships and establishing educational and training partnerships to support workforce development objectives.
