USD 800 Million Industrial Projects Launched in Sudair

Capital projects valued at approximately SAR 3 billion (USD 800 million) have been launched in Sudair City for Industry and Businesses, covering infrastructure, utilities and industrial facilities.

The programme was unveiled during a visit by the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, Bandar Alkhorayef, in the presence of the authority’s CEO Majed Al-Argoubi.

Infrastructure projects worth SAR 1.8 billion were inaugurated during the visit. The works include upgrades to road networks, water and sewage systems, the construction of a 12,500 cubic metre water reservoir, and the rollout of the fourth phase of infrastructure development spanning 6 million square metres.

The programme also includes the construction of a 200 MVA electrical substation to enhance power supply capacity within the industrial city. In parallel, 44 ready-built factories are being developed to support industrial investors and provide facilities tailored to entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Several supporting industrial contracts were signed as part of the visit, aimed at strengthening the city’s operational ecosystem and attracting further private sector investment.
