UAE & Kuwait Celebrate Ties With ‘Brothers Forever’ Festival
The week-long celebration runs from January 29th to February 4th, featuring a full programme of events across the Emirates.
The UAE will launch a week-long celebration of its ties with Kuwait, titled ‘UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever’, from January 29th to February 4th, across all seven emirates. The programme features over 40 social, cultural, and entertainment events highlighting decades of cooperation in culture, media, economy, education, and sports.
Abu Dhabi will host 'Kuwait’s Timeless Nights' at ADNEC on January 29th, featuring Nabil Shuail, Ahlam, Eida Al Menhali, and Abdulaziz Al Duwaihi, alongside a sailboat parade, drone shows at Yas Bay Waterfront, and iconic UAE landmark illuminations in Kuwaiti flag colours. Additional events will be held in Abu Dhabi malls, Manarat Al Saadiyat, Heritage Village, the Children’s Library, and Al Ain Oasis.
Dubai will feature a concert on January 30th at Burj Park with Hussain Al Jassmi, Mutref Al-Mutref, Balqees, and Khaled Al Muthafar, aerial displays by Fursan Al Emarat, ‘Kuwait at Home’ live music and food programme at Jumeirah Kite Beach, a youth gathering on February 3rd, and a concert by Ibrahim Dashti on February 4th.
Over at The House of Arts at Expo City Dubai, they'll host the Firdaus Orchestra, a talk with artist Munira Al Shami, and folk music performances. Dubai Mall’s ARTE Museum will also organize a dedicated exhibition, and Kuwaiti Cinema Week screens classic films across the city.
Across the northern emirates, Fujairah will celebrate with the Kuwait in Fujairah Festival at Fujairah Castle on January 31st, featuring art displays, interactive shows, and a home-business market, while Ras Al Khaimah hosts a joint UAE-Kuwait concert on February 4th and a Kuwaiti Food Festival at Al Marjan Island from January 29th to February 1st.
The programme also includes the UAE-Kuwait Media Forum on January 29th and the Economic Forum on February 2nd, documenting historical milestones, highlighting trade and investment opportunities, and celebrating the enduring friendship between the two nations.
