Saudi Media Forum to Explore AI & XR in Riyadh This February
More than 250 companies will attend the Saudi Media Forum in Riyadh from 2nd to 4th February 2026 to explore how AI and digital tools are reshaping media, content production and global communication.

The Saudi Media Forum will be held in Riyadh from February 2nd to the 4th, 2026, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Held during a time of rapid change across the global media landscape, the event is expected to bring together over 250 organisations from the media, technology, and communications sectors. Attendees will include industry executives, developers, policy experts, and strategists from around the world.
Now in its fifth edition, the forum has evolved into a major regional platform for dialogue around the future of media. This year’s focus will be on how generative artificial intelligence and extended reality are influencing media production, distribution, and consumption. Organisers have scheduled over 100 sessions, including panels, workshops, and discussions aimed at addressing both current challenges and long-term opportunities for the industry.
An innovation zone will showcase new broadcasting tools, digital storytelling platforms, and immersive technologies, providing attendees with hands-on exposure to the latest developments. International media figures from Europe, Asia, and North America are also expected to attend, further reinforcing the forum’s growing global reach.
The forum’s theme, “Media in a Shifting World,” reflects ongoing concerns about sustainability, relevance, and adaptability in an increasingly digital era.
