Health & Social Solidarity Launch Women’s Health Initiative
The initiative introduces HPV vaccinations for girls and women aged 9 to 60.
Egypt’s Ministers of Health and Population and Social Solidarity have overseen the signing of a new memorandum of understanding to expand women’s healthcare services nationwide under the slogan “Stay One Step Ahead.”
The agreement focuses on improving access to early detection and reproductive health services across the country. Signed by senior officials from both ministries alongside the Egyptian Society for Colposcopy, the memorandum aims to scale up early detection efforts, particularly for cervical cancer, while strengthening reproductive healthcare. It also introduces HPV vaccinations for girls and women aged 9 to 60.
The partnership will see the rollout of 30 specialised clinics equipped with modern medical technology, alongside awareness and early detection initiatives. The Ministry of Health will provide clinical spaces, medical staff, and technical oversight, while the Ministry of Social Solidarity will handle equipment, implementation, and coordination with relevant entities.
