RTA Approves Driving Centre In Dubai With Smart Yards & Simulators
A massive new driving centre is coming to Dubai with simulators, e-learning platforms, and smart testing yards, giving 500 trainees a day a faster, tech-forward path to their license.

A high-tech driver training centre has been approved in Dubai, with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) giving the green light to a major new facility coming to Wadi Al Safa 3 in Dubailand. The centre, which will span over 100,000 square metres - about the size of 14 football fields - is expected to handle up to 500 learners daily.
The facility will include advanced driving simulators, smart testing yards, and integrated e-learning platforms designed to streamline the training and testing process. Construction will begin soon, though an official opening date has yet to be announced.
The new centre will be operated by First Driving Centre and built in Al Rowaiyah 3 (Sector No. 5). It reflects Dubai’s continued investment in transportation infrastructure and road safety, offering greater accessibility for residents in the city’s expanding suburbs.
Dubai has made major shifts in driver education over the past decade, including digitised license renewals and AI-backed road monitoring.
