Photopia & World Press Photo Launch Exhibit in Port Said
The exhibit, 'Down to Earth', explores the impact of climate change on land, water, and human life.
Cairo-based photography school Photopia has partnered with World Press Photo to launch a climate-focused photography exhibition in Port Said. Opening on November 14th, the exhibition, titled ‘Down to Earth: Climate Change & Climate Futures’, explores the impact of climate change on land, water, and human life, while also showcasing stories of resilience and adaptation from around the world.
World Press Photo, a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam, supports visual storytellers and photojournalists globally. The exhibition is held with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Egypt and in collaboration with the Port Said Governorate.
Taking place in Feryal Garden, Port Said, the exhibition will be open to the public daily from 10 AM to 10 PM until November 30th.
