Paid Parking to Roll Out Across Musaffah From April 20th
The second phase introduces over 10,000 parking spaces at AED 2 per hour.
Paid parking will be introduced across parts of Musaffah from April 20th, 2026, with standard spaces priced at AED 2 per hour.
Motorists will be able to pay through the Darb and TAMM apps, as well as via SMS and on-site payment machines.
The rollout forms the second phase of the Musaffah parking programme and will cover sectors M7, M8, M9, M14 and M15, providing 10,010 parking spaces, including designated spots for people of determination.
The expansion is part of a broader plan launched in January 2026 to organise parking and improve traffic flow in key areas. Musaffah, a major industrial and commercial hub, has experienced limited public parking availability and irregular parking practices that have contributed to congestion. Q Mobility is implementing the system under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport.
Earlier phases included the introduction of 4,680 paid parking spaces across five Musaffah sectors in January, followed by the opening of four multi-storey parking buildings in Mohamed Bin Zayed City in March, adding 1,446 spaces.
From April 6th, a separate paid parking system was also introduced across multiple commercial zones in Abu Dhabi, covering 10,424 spaces, with regulations preventing reservation of spaces for residents after 9pm.
