Ministry of Social Solidarity Launches Civil Society Support Fund
Established under the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the CSF will operate as a platform to connect civil society organisations with resources, government programmes, and international expertise.

The Civil Society Support Fund (CSF) has been launched to provide financing for innovation and technology projects, with a focus on civil society initiatives. The fund is structured to expand opportunities for youth-led projects, sustainable solutions, and technology-driven development across local communities. Established under the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the CSF will operate as a platform to connect civil society organisations with resources, government programmes, and international expertise. Its remit includes supporting digital transformation, scaling up social enterprises, and enabling projects that apply technological tools to address development challenges. The launch event also hosted the fund’s first annual conference, where sessions explored social innovation, the application of artificial intelligence to social impact, and strategies for advancing sustainable development. By creating a financing mechanism dedicated to civil society, the Civil Society Support Fund is positioned to accelerate innovation and strengthen collaboration between local organisations, state institutions, and international partners.
