The Ministry of Interior has prioritised artificial intelligence and big data analytics to enhance service quality, strengthen security, and support environmental sustainability in Saudi Arabia.
According to the ministry, the technology focus spans three core areas. In service quality, artificial intelligence applications are being developed to improve the management of services provided to individuals and organisations. In security, systems are being directed toward supporting efforts to prevent and address crime. In environmental sustainability, the ministry said artificial intelligence and data-driven methods will be used to advance sustainability objectives.
Adopting artificial intelligence and big data analytics is intended to shape future practices across these domains. The emphasis is on deploying solutions that can be applied within existing ministry services and operations, with the aim of improving outcomes for users and supporting national priorities in security and sustainability.
