Matrouh’s El Gharam Beach Will Be Publicly Auctioned By End of May
The entrance fee for the beach auction will start at EGP 150,000.

The governorate of Matrouh released an announcement through Al-Ahram newspaper’s auctioning section, where they revealed that a public auction for the licenses of a few public spaces. Amongst the spaces on auction is El Gharam Beach, once the setting of Laila Mourad’s popular 50s film of the same name.
The entrance fee for El Gharam beach auction, which will take place on Sunday, May 28th, starts at EGP 150,000 and will be closely regulated by the governorate.
