Mohamed Farrag & Nelly Karim Star in New Comedy ‘Voy’

Egyptian actor Mohamed Farrag will star in the new film ‘Voy’, making his silver screen comeback after a three-year hiatus. The social comedy follows the story of Hassan, a struggling security guard who lives with his mom and dreams of a life-changing opportunity. Hassan then comes across a football game ‘Voy’ for visually impaired athletes, which ends up changing his life.
The anticipated film stars superstar Nelly Karim, Bayoumi Fouad and Taha Desouky, and is written and directed by Omar Helal. Before this, Farrag’s latest cinematic venture had been ‘The Black Box’ (2020), and he recently starred in the Ramadan mini-series ‘Harb’ (2023).
