Fire Contained at Fujairah Oil Industry Zone Without Injuries

Authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah said on Tuesday March 3rd they responded to a fire in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) caused by falling debris after air defence systems intercepted a drone.

In an official statement, authorities said they had “responded to a fire that broke out this morning in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), resulting from falling debris following the successful interception of a drone by air defense systems.”

“No injuries were reported, the fire was brought under control, and normal operations in the area have resumed,” the statement added.

Authorities urged the public to obtain information from official state sources and to “avoid circulating rumors or unverified information.”
