Egypt’s Food Exports Reach USD 4.23 Billion in Eight Months
This marks increase of USD 675.182 million compared to the same period in 2024, according to CAPMAS.
Egypt’s food exports recorded USD 4.23 billion during the first eight months of 2025, up from USD 3.555 billion in the same period of 2024—an increase of USD 675.182 million, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics.
The growth was supported by higher volumes across several product categories. Exports of compound preparations for the beverage industry rose sharply to USD 356.351 million, compared with USD 1.3 million in the first eight months of 2024, marking an increase of USD 355.051 million.
Chocolate and other food preparations reached USD 136.917 million, up from USD 92.786 million a year earlier, an increase of USD 44.131 million. Exports of uncooked pasta made from flour recorded USD 82.543 million, compared with USD 69.569 million in the corresponding period of 2024, an increase of USD 12.974 million.
