Egypt’s Cosmetics & Perfume Exports Rise to USD 165.3 Million

Egypt’s cosmetics and perfume exports reached USD 165.3 million between January and August 2025, up from USD 121.4 million in the same period of 2024—an increase of USD 43.8 million, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics.
Exports of soap and cleaning preparations totalled USD 248.2 million in the first eight months of 2025, compared with USD 222.7 million a year earlier, marking an increase of USD 25.5 million. Tissue paper exports rose to USD 79.2 million, up from USD 59.1 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of USD 20.1 million.
Overall, Egypt’s total exports amounted to USD 33.8 billion between January and August 2025, compared with USD 29.2 billion in the corresponding period of 2024—an increase of USD 4.5 billion.
