Egypt Forecasts Stable Weather on Friday March 27th

Weather conditions across Egypt are expected to stabilise from Friday March 27th, 2026, with a gradual rise in temperatures following recent instability.

According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, rainfall and dust-raising winds will begin to recede as a warmer air mass moves into the country.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to increase by 3 to 5°C compared to recent days, bringing mild to warm conditions across most regions, while early mornings and nights will remain cold.

Marine conditions are also expected to improve as wind speeds ease, following strong gusts that reached up to 50 km/h during the recent low-pressure system.

The authority described Friday as a transition point towards more stable weather through the end of the week, with normal daily activity expected across governorates. From Friday through Tuesday March 31st, conditions are expected to remain generally stable, with cold starts, mild to warm daytime temperatures and cooler nights. Intermittent wind activity may persist across the northern coasts, Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt.

Forecast temperatures in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to reach 21°C during the day and 13°C at night on Friday, rising to 24°C and 15°C on Saturday, before returning to 21°C and 13°C on Sunday.

On the northern coasts, temperatures are forecast at 21°C and 11°C on Friday, 23°C and 13°C on Saturday, and 19°C and 11°C on Sunday. In North Upper Egypt, readings are expected at 23°C and 10°C on Friday, increasing to 26°C and 14°C on Saturday, and remaining around 26°C and 12°C on

Sunday. South Upper Egypt will see temperatures of 25°C and 13°C on Friday, rising to 29°C and 15°C on Saturday, and reaching 31°C and 15°C on Sunday.

The authority advised the public to follow daily weather updates during the seasonal transition and to avoid switching to lighter clothing too quickly at night due to the continued drop in temperatures after sunset.
