Dubai Tower Named After Shah Rukh Khan Sells Out in a Day
Spanning over one million square feet, unit prices started at AED 2 million. It is the first commercial building named after a Bollywood star.
A 55-storey commercial tower in Dubai named Shahrukhz by Danube — branded after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan — sold out entirely on its launch day, developer Danube Properties has announced. The AED 2.1 billion project on Sheikh Zayed Road, one of Dubai’s busiest commercial arteries, drew strong demand from investors and businesses, with all 488 units claimed within hours of sales opening. Pricing for the premium office spaces reportedly started at around AED 2 million per unit. The development spans more than one million square feet and is scheduled for completion in 2029. Danube Group held a gala launch event at Expo City Dubai attended by Shah Rukh Khan, industry leaders and thousands of guests, where the company confirmed the sell-out and shared that over 6,000 people were present. Anchoring its appeal was the unique branding: Shahrukhz by Danube is the first commercial building in the world officially named after a film star, reflecting both Dubai’s global real estate momentum and Shah Rukh Khan’s broad regional appeal. The project will offer a range of upscale amenities including executive lounges, valet services, a sky pool, and a dedicated helipad for future air taxi connectivity, according to promotional materials shared at the launch. Danube Group also hinted at plans for additional towers carrying the same branding in cities such as New York, London, Delhi and Mumbai.
