Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi said the initiative strengthens direct communication with residents and tourists while raising security awareness at a major public venue.
Dubai Police has unveiled an interactive platform at Global Village, giving visitors the opportunity to explore a wide range of smart services while promoting security awareness and community safety.
The platform presents services and initiatives that include smart vehicle impoundment, neighbourhood policing, inquiry and follow-up services, smart home security, reporting of lost items, combating cybercrimes, circulars and travel ban services, child protection and support, women’s protection and support, call centre services, and the 04 platform, alongside other digital solutions.
The initiative reflects an ongoing effort by Dubai Police to engage with the community at major events across the emirate. The platform will operate for a month, with plans for permanent participation in future seasons. The activation is located near the Global Village theatre.
