UAE Armed Forces Officers’ Funerals Set for March 10
The officers were killed when their military helicopter went down during a mission on Monday.
Funeral prayers for two members of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces who were killed in a helicopter crash on Monday will be held on Tuesday, March 10, following the Dhuhr prayer, according to Janaza UAE.
The Janaza prayer for First Lieutenant Pilot Ali Saleh Ismail Al Tunaiji will take place at Abdullah Al Aamash Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah, with burial at Al Rams Cemetery, while funeral prayers for Captain Pilot Saeed Rashid Hamad Al Balushi will be held at Al Moatared Al Kabeer Mosque in Al Ain, followed by burial at Ahmed bin Soroor Cemetery.
The officers were killed when their military helicopter went down during a mission on Monday. The incident comes as the Gulf region remains on heightened alert amid escalating tensions involving Iran, the United States and Israel, which have raised security concerns across several countries in the region.
