Dubai Police has become the first police force in the UAE to receive ISO 53800:2024 certification for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Awarded by Bureau Veritas and coordinated by the Dubai Police Women’s Council, the certification recognises efforts to embed gender equality across policies, decision-making, and workplace practices.
The standards assessed included equal pay, gender balance at every level, non-discrimination training, and support for work-life balance.
