Chery UAE is Letting Kids Design Their Own Dream Car
‘Chery Got Talent’ is a nationwide call for young UAE residents to design their own dream car with pure, unfiltered imagination.
Most children don't care about torque, fuel efficiency, or the finer points of boot space. To the under-10 set, a car is either "the fast one," "the loud one," or —if they've had a long day— "the one I nap in." And yet, these are the very people Chery UAE is now turning to for design inspiration. The automaker has launched Chery Kids, a family-centric platform designed to get children dreaming about the future of mobility. First initiative out the gate is ‘Chery Got Talent’, a nationwide call for young UAE residents to design their own dream car with pure, unfiltered imagination, committed to paper in whatever shade of fluorescent pink feels right. Chery has been China’s top passenger car exporter for 21 consecutive years and counts over 13 million users globally. But since entering the UAE market in 2023 via AW Rostamani Group, the brand has signalled it wants to be more than a manufacturer. Chery Kids suggests it wants to be part of the weekend conversation, too. More activations under the Chery Kids umbrella are expected in the coming months. For now, the brand is simply handing over the keys to a generation that can’t yet reach the pedals.
