Central Bank Issues Gold & Silver Coins Honouring Nation's Founders

The UAE Central Bank has released a special collection of gold and silver coins to honour the nation’s founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The collection features four denominations - two gold and two silver coins - each bearing portraits of the respective leaders and engraved with their names and key achievements. The gold coins are valued at 2 grams and 5 grams, while the silver editions weigh 10 grams and 20 grams. Premium minting techniques, including enhanced relief and micro-engraving, deliver intricate design quality to collectors and investors alike.
Issuance will begin on July 6th, with coins available exclusively through the Central Bank’s channels. Each coin is sold individually, and purchasers can verify authenticity using provided serial numbers and certificates.
