Ali Al Bulaihi Joins Al Shabab on Loan From Al Hilal Until Season End
Al Bulaihi departs Al Hilal after an eight-and-a-half-year spell that began in 2017.
Saudi defender Ali Al Bulaihi has completed a loan move to Al Shabab from Al Hilal, with the agreement running until the end of the current season.
Al Hilal confirmed the transfer through its official X account, while Al Shabab said the loan procedures were finalised under the supervision of acting chairman Abdulaziz Al Malik. The club added that the player was wished success for the remainder of the campaign.
The move was completed during the winter transfer window, with the decision taken in the final hours before its closure. Al Bulaihi opted to leave after falling out of first-team plans under Italian head coach Simone Inzaghi, prompting the short-term switch for the second half of the season.
Al Bulaihi departs Al Hilal after an eight-and-a-half-year spell that began in 2017. During that period, he made 263 appearances across all competitions, scoring 23 goals and registering three assists. His time at the club coincided with one of the most successful eras in its history, yielding five Saudi League titles, three King’s Cup trophies, three Saudi Super Cups and two AFC Champions League titles.
