Ajman Police Upgrade Rehabilitation & Medical Services for Inmates

Ajman Police expand rehabilitation services with improved clinics, vocational training and family-focused facilities at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution.
Ajman Police have introduced a series of upgrades at the emirate’s Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution, adding a dedicated nursery for inmates’ children alongside expanded medical and vocational facilities.
The enhancements include the establishment of a nursery to support incarcerated mothers and their children, upgraded medical and dental clinics, improvements to the institution’s medical testing laboratory and pharmacy, and expanded vocational workshops and training facilities aimed at equipping inmates with practical skills.
Officials stated that the upgrades are intended to improve living standards and service provision, while supporting inmates’ reintegration into society. The expanded workshops and training facilities are designed to provide practical, skills-based programmes that prepare inmates for employment after release.
