Tunisia-Born AI Startup Clusterlab Raises $600,000 Pre-Seed
The $600,000 infusion of funds is set to significantly bolster ClusterLab's research and development endeavors.
ClusterLab, a Tunisia-born AI startup with its headquarters in the UAE, has recently announced the completion of a $600,000 pre-seed funding round. This round saw strong support from various investors, including Karim Beguir and early supporters of InstaDeep, along with regional angel investors.
Established in 2020 by Haithem Kchaou and Chehir Dhaouadi, ClusterLab has established its position in regional AI and NLP technologies through its partnership with InstaDeep on a national AI initiative for Tunisia's Ministry of Higher Education, and selection for Nvidia's Inception Program for AI startups.
The $600,000 infusion of funds is set to significantly bolster ClusterLab's research and development endeavors. A primary focus will be on the advancement of their next-generation large language models (LLMs). These language models will play a crucial role in enhancing ClusterLab's NLP capabilities, aimed at refining user experiences across their AI-powered products like Reedz, an Arabic audiobook summarization app, and Elm.
"The coming months hold immense potential. We're eager to showcase the depth of our technological advancements to the public, particularly through the large-scale deployment of our AI solutions," Chehir Dhaouadi, CTO and Co-Founder, tells StartupScene.
This strategic move signifies a pivotal moment for ClusterLab as they strive to transform the landscape of Arabic content creation and consumption, ensuring greater accessibility and engagement for users on a global scale.
