India's TransBnk Raises $25 Million to Expand Into Middle East
The Mumbai-based API banking startup plans to accelerate its international growth, strengthen its product teams, and broaden its client network, which spans over 40 banks and 220 financial partners.

TransBnk, a Mumbai-based banking infrastructure startup, has raised $25 million in a Series B round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Arkam Ventures, Fundamentum Partnership, 8i Ventures, Accion Venture Labs, and GMO Venture Partners. The funding will support the company’s expansion into the Middle East and East Asia, alongside investments in technology and product development. Founded in 2022, TransBnk provides an API-based transaction banking platform that streamlines services such as escrow, trade finance, remittances, cash management, invoice disbursements, and tax payments. The company currently integrates with more than 40 banks and serves over 220 clients, processing nearly 1,500 API calls monthly. The new funding arrives amid growing demand for modular, software-as-a-service banking infrastructure as financial institutions shift away from legacy systems. By offering unified, API-driven solutions, TransBnk aims to enable fintechs, corporates, and financial institutions to launch services faster and more cost-effectively in multiple markets.
