‘AI Everything Middle East & Africa’ Summit to Take Place in Cairo

The inaugural ‘AI Everything Middle East & Africa’ summit and exhibition will take place in Cairo from February 10th to the 12th, 2026. Organised by GITEX GLOBAL in partnership with Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), it aims to establish a regional platform for AI innovation.

The summit will assemble policymakers, global tech firms, AI startups, investors, and specialists from over 60 countries. More than 200 venture capitalists from the GITEX network are expected to participate, creating a hub for networking and investment.

Participants can expect a high-level ministerial summit on AI policy, an international exhibition showcasing AI applications, and specialised sessions covering topics such as large language models, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and AIoT. A dedicated hackathon will engage youths with mentorship from experts and opportunities to connect with investors.

Holding the summit in Egypt aligns with ongoing initiatives aimed at positioning the country as a regional hub for AI, such as the National AI Strategy, the National AI Council, and investments in digital infrastructure and human capital
