Ministry of Culture Opens Music Museums Free on September 15th

The Ministry of Culture will mark Egyptian Music Day on Monday, September 15th, 2025, with free admission to its affiliated museums: the Umm Kulthum Museum in Manial, the Mohamed Abdel Wahab Museum at the Cairo Opera House, and the Pioneers of Art Museum in Helwan. Established as an annual celebration, Egyptian Music Day honours the art form as a cornerstone of national identity while spotlighting the legacies of its great pioneers—most notably the People’s Artist Sayed Darwish, whose death anniversary falls on September 15th.
