Prices of Philip Morris Cigarettes Increased by EGP 5
These new prices will be applied to popular brands such as Marlboro, L&M, and Merit.
Ibrahim Embaby, the head of the Division of Tobacco and Cigarettes at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) has announced a price increase for all cigarettes produced by Philip Morris. A pack of Marlboro cigarettes will cost EGP 84, while Marlboro Crafted packs will cost EGP 74. Merit cigarettes will cost EGP 90 per package, and L&M cigarettes will cost EGP 64 per package. In addition, HEETS Selections, HEETS Dimensions, and TEREA will all cost EGP 64 per package.
These new prices come a little more than two months after Philip Morris Egypt raised the prices of all of their tobacco products by EGP 8 to EGP 11. These new prices will be implemented starting April 23rd, 2024.
