Monochrome Monday: Laurel Green

This week’s edit shows how Laurel Green can shift across designers, silhouettes, and moods without losing its pull.

Monochrome Monday: Laurel Green

There’s something especially satisfying about a lineup where the designers feel in conversation with each other, even when each piece comes from a completely different place. This week’s Monochrome Monday brings together a group of brands that approach Laurel Green with their own distinct style, yet somehow arrive at the same sense of richness.

What holds the edit together is how each designer works the colour on their own terms. Nour Abdul softens it; Andrea Wazen sharpens it. Chic Le Frique eases it into linen tailoring, Marzook fixes it into sculptural form, and Sahar Zaghloul threads it through jewellery with a more symbolic charge. Marmar Halim builds volume around it, DAL Concepts cuts through it, and Dries Van Noten anchors it in tailoring that holds everything else in check.

Nour Abdul | Dress Suit

Nour Abdul opens the edit on a softer note, where Laurel Green is carried through movement and delicacy. The piece feels almost weightless, setting the tone with a sense of ease rather than structure.

Andrea Wazen | Carol Mule

Andrea Wazen pulls the palette into something sharper and more resolved. The Carol Mule is clean, minimal, and precise, grounding the edit with a more controlled, refined edge.

Chic Le Frique | Avila Linen Set

Chic Le Frique shifts the mood into something more relaxed. The Avila Linen Set brings in breathability and ease, showing how Laurel Green can sit effortlessly within summer tailoring.

Marzook | Sage Fan Bag

Marzook introduces a sculptural interruption. The Sage Fan Bag holds its shape with intention, adding a sense of design-led structure.

Sahar Zaghloul | Khepri of Renewal Necklace

Sahar Zaghloul adds depth through meaning. The Khepri motif brings a layer of symbolism, giving the lineup a more narrative, almost reflective quality within the monochrome.

Marmar Halim | Strapless Pleated Taffeta Dress

Marmar Halim takes the colour into a more elevated space. Through volume and pleating, the dress builds drama without losing the restraint that defines the palette.

DAL Concepts | The Half Constructed Blazer

With The Half Constructed Blazer, DAL Concepts introduces a sense of reinvention into the edit. The piece carries the label’s hand-touched, one-of-one spirit, giving Laurel Green a more textured, personal, and quietly subversive edge.

Dries Van Noten | Wide Pleated Pants

Dries Van Noten brings everything back to balance. The wide pleated pants feel grounded and assured, closing the lineup with a sense of quiet confidence and wearability.
