GymNation Launches AED 1 Million Fitness & Wellness Foundation

GymNation is launching a AED 1 million foundation to support emerging talent, community initiatives and innovation across the fitness and wellness sectors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Thailand.

The GymNation Foundation brings together three initiatives, starting with The First Rep, an incubator programme offering AED 1 million in direct investment to early-stage businesses working in fitness, health, wellness and technology. Selected founders will also receive hands-on business support and access to GymNation’s network of more than 200,000 members to test and develop their ideas. Applications are free and open until February 2027, with shortlisted founders pitching directly to GymNation’s leadership later in the year.

The Foundation also includes a Community Support pillar, which works with charities, non-profits and grassroots organisations through financial contributions, awareness campaigns and access to GymNation’s community. Its existing partners include Al Jalila Foundation, Namaa Charity, Heroes of Hope and Gulf for Good.

Meanwhile, its Athlete Program provides aspiring athletes facing financial barriers with free or subsidised gym access, dedicated strength and conditioning coaching, financial assistance for race preparation and recovery, and ongoing support. Athletes of determination are also eligible for inclusive training opportunities, with selected participants receiving support on a renewable 12-month basis.

Since opening its first club in 2018, GymNation has donated more than AED 1.2 million to charities across the region. The new Foundation formalises that commitment while expanding its support for talent and innovation.
