Lege-Cy to Headline Shababco Event in Egypt on December 5th-6th

Egyptian rapper, Lege-Cy, has been announced as the headline act at this year’s edition of Cairo-based youth empowerment event, Shababco, which takes place on December 5th and 6th. 

Hosted at Tanza, 6th of October City, Shababco stands as one of the region’s biggest gatherings of its kind, one that seeks to champion and harness the energy of Egypt’s creative youth. With over 10,000 visitors anticipated, the event will feature an eclectic marketplace featuring some of the country’s most creative emerging brands, artists and performers, with Lege-Cy set to perform at the closing part on day two.

The performance will cap off a busy year for Lege-Cy, one that started with the surprise release of a full album, BGD, in February that saw him return to a purer rap sound. Since then, he has showcased his versatility with a string of decidedly more mellow works: June-released chill pop track, 'Law Nasyany', July's Arabic pop banger, 'Wala Meen', with Ziad Zaza, and summer slow burner 'ERMINI', which dropped in August, as well ‘3alam Kadaba’ for hit TV series, ‘Ma Tarah Laysa Kama Yabdo’.
