Unified USD 15 Visa & Consular Fee to Take Effect From 2027
The new fee will apply to entry and transit visas at Egyptian ports, as well as consular services provided abroad.
A unified USD 15 fee for entry and transit visas issued at Egyptian ports of entry, as well as for visas and consular services provided by Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad, will take effect on January 1st, 2027.
The measure was set by a decree issued by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and published in the Official Gazette.
Under the decree, the same USD 15 fee will apply to entry and transit visas processed at ports of entry and to consular services provided through Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad.
The new structure replaces a system in which fees varied depending on the type of visa or consular service being processed.
