New Pay Framework Introduced for Quran Teachers in Sharjah
The regulations cover compensation, professional responsibilities and disciplinary procedures for staff.
A new framework regulating the work and compensation of teachers and supervisors at the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment has been introduced, alongside regulations governing administrative violations and disciplinary measures for staff.
The framework is intended to enhance educational performance, attract qualified teaching professionals and strengthen workplace discipline. It also seeks to improve administrative efficiency while clearly defining professional responsibilities and standards of conduct.
According to the Sharjah Executive Council, the measures support the establishment's role in teaching and promoting the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah.
During the same meeting, the council reviewed the Sharjah Social Services Department's 2025 annual report, which showed that more than AED 500 million in social assistance had been provided to 11,683 citizens during the year. An additional 1,892 people benefited from supplementary social assistance programmes.
The report also covered services offered through specialised care and protection centres, including the Elderly Care Home, Wahat Al-Rushd Home, the Senior Services Centre, home care services and the Child and Family Protection Centre.
