Museum of the Future Gets 20,000 Job Applications in 48 Hours
The ‘Future Perfects’ hiring drive is recruiting full-time visitor experience staff ahead of the museum’s 2027 reopening.
The Museum of the Future received more than 20,000 applications within 48 hours for its new ‘Future Perfects’ recruitment campaign, while the campaign website recorded 42,000 visits over the same period.
The hiring drive is recruiting full-time team members to shape the museum’s visitor experience when it reopens in 2027. The roles will involve helping visitors engage with ideas around science, technology, nature, society and the future.
Applicants do not need previous museum or customer service experience, with the museum instead prioritising qualities such as imagination, curiosity, emotional intelligence, warmth and adaptability. Museum of the Future Chief Operating Officer Azza AlNuaimi said the early response reflected interest in career opportunities that look beyond conventional CV requirements.
The museum’s recruitment team has begun reviewing applications, with candidates set to move through assessments and shortlisting before selected applicants take part in live auditions in front of an expert judging panel. Applications remain open until November 8th through the ‘Future Perfects’ campaign website.
The recruitment drive comes as the Museum of the Future prepares a new phase of visitor experiences. The museum temporarily closed on September 1st, with new experiences planned to coincide with its fifth anniversary in 2027.
