Ajman University has launched a new Doctoral Student Fellowship aimed at preparing Emirati scholars for careers in higher education and research under its Faculty Emiratization Strategy 2026–2031.
The programme will sponsor four Emirati master's graduates annually over the next three years, supporting full-time doctoral studies in artificial intelligence, business administration and law. Fellows will receive full tuition coverage alongside a monthly stipend of AED 8,000 for 12 months during each academic year.
Upon completing all doctoral requirements, fellows will be required to join Ajman University as full-time faculty members.
According to the university, the fellowship is open to outstanding Emirati students expected to graduate from its master's programmes, as well as Emirati master's graduates who demonstrate strong academic performance, research potential and an ambition to pursue careers in university teaching and research.
Applications are now open for the Fall 2026 semester. Prospective candidates can review admission requirements and submit applications through the university's website or visit the Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions on the Ajman University campus.
