The Smart and Autonomous Vehicle Industries cluster is being developed with several entities, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, General Civil Aviation Authority, Integrated Transport Centre, Abu Dhabi Maritime, Tawazun Industrial Park, Miral and the digital cluster of AD Ports Group.
The department also cited recent economic indicators including a 21% year-on-year increase in new economic licences in the first quarter of 2026 and a 54% rise in assets under management at Abu Dhabi Global Market in the first half of the year. Foreign direct investment into real estate reached AED 13.8 billion during the same period, up 309% year on year.
